Kait Weston Premieres “Til Death Do Us Part” Music Video – Watch Now! (@KaitWeston)

558952_495943790468434_182212916_nSinger/songwriter KAIT WESTON has premiered her new music video for the single “Til Death Do Us Part,” the official song of Relativity Media’s  new Romeo & Juliet film, set to hit theatres on October 11th. The music video contains exclusive footage from the film and was directed by Jay Martin, who also directed Christina Perry’s “Jar of Hearts” and “Thousand Years” videos. Originally from a small town in New York called Buchanan, Kait Weston made the move to Los Angeles two years ago to dedicate her life to music. Her journey began by creating a YouTube channel, where she posted cover versions of her favorite pop radio hits, which in turn caught the attention of popular YouTube sensation Tyler Ward. She went on to successfully win his USA Live Lounge Contest, which allowed her to be featured on two collaborations with Ward and introduced her to his millions of fans. Not long after, Kait received a call from renowned TV personality Ellen Degeneres, requesting that she perform her single “Firework” on The Ellen Show.

“After watching the trailer for the movie I was so inspired by not only the story but the chemistry between Hailee Steinfeld and Douglas Booth,” says Weston on her involvement with Romeo & Juliet. “I wanted to write a song that every generation could relate to and fall in love with.”

Kait will also be making an appearance at this year’s All American High School Film Festival on October 4th, which will be followed by the East Coast premiere of Romeo & Juliet.
