Kelsea Ballerini on AMA Nomination: “I Can’t Wait For This Experience!” (@kelseaballerini)

As announced earlier this week (10/13), Black River Entertainment recording artist Kelsea Ballerini is aglow with her first American Music Awards (AMA) nomination for 2015 Favorite Female Artist – Country. The fan-voted awards show will air live from Los Angeles on November 22nd at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Voting is now open via AMAvote.com.

“This is my first all-genre award show nomination,” exclaims Kelsea Ballerini. “And, I’m in the category with two women [Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood] who have influenced me so much in Country music. I can’t wait to go experience it all for the first time!”

The breakthrough New Artist is making a statement at Country radio with her current Top 20and-climbing hit single “Dibs”. Featured on her debut album THE FIRST TIME, “Dibs” follows the #1, GOLD-certified smash “Love Me Like You Mean It.”

Touring nationwide this fall, the double CMA Award nominee (New Artist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year) is gearing up to perform on the 49th Annual CMA Awards broadcast live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on November 4th at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

Ballerini launched to stardom with the release of her #1, GOLD-certified debut “Love Me Like You Mean It” and current hit “Dibs.” Abuzz with shout-outs from superstars Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town, she is the first solo female artist in nine years to hit #1 with her debut country single and one of only 11 women to have ever hit the top of the charts with a debut. Co-produced by Forest Glen Whitehead and Jason Massey, THE FIRST TIME landed Top 5 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and released to rave reviews.
