Nearly 3 years after the couple first separated, Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian’s divorce is almost finalized. Khloe was the first to file for divorce, listing their separation date as December 13, 2013. The divorce was put on hold when last year, Lamar Odom overdosed and was in the hospital for a lengthy time with no say on how he would recover.
Khloe flew to be by his side during his difficult time and through his recovery. Rumors started to fly that the two might possibly reconcile and give their marriage another chance. Those rumors were quickly shut down by Khloe, as she was still dating NBA star James Harden and stated he was a huge part of helping her get through the situation with Lamar.
Since his recovery, Lamar has finally filed the papers for their divorce. His papers are a close copy to Khloe’s, stating basically the same details as hers. The exes have a prenup and the settlement details have all been worked out.
