Hot on the heels of wrapping Disney Channel’s wildly admired comedy series Austin & Ally, Laura Marano continues to crank up the volume with the debut of “Boombox”.
Available now, the multi-instrumental musician previewed her first single on Big Machine Records on her Disney Radio show For The Record With Laura Marano. Marano’s vivacious spirit is showcased as she belts about lyrics of finding a person whose unique energy encourages you to live in the moment, all while giving fans an irresistible and danceable beat.
The infectious track was penned by Jason Dean, Rami Jrade, Joe Kirkland, Asia Whiteacre and the song’s producer TJ Routon. Marano brings to life catchy metaphors like: “‘Cause when I look back on it / Life like the sonnet / A quiet kind of solitude / Tell me how’d you do it / You added the music / I never heard a song like you / ‘Cause you’re my boombox baby / You can sing anything / Blow my speakers out with you.”
