Lauren Alaina is Set To Perform at The White House for PBS’ In Performance Series!

American Idol runner-up Lauren Alaina recently appeared on Yahoo Music’s ‘Ram Country’ to perform her latest single, “Georgia Peaches,” in the hills above Los Angeles.  The song appears on Lauren’s debut albumWildflower, which has remained in the top ten on the Billboard Country chart since its October release (iTunes / Amazon).

Lauren has a number of very special events coming up, including “flipping the switch” for the annual lighting celebration to kick off the Holiday season at Elvis Presley’s Graceland.   Lauren will also be performing at the White House for PBS’s “Country Music: In Performance at the White House” Series on Wednesday, November 23 at 8pm EST, joining President and Mrs. Obama and a prestigious group of artists including The Band Perry, Dierks Bentley, Alison Krauss, Darius Rucker, and James Taylor.

The next day she kicks off the first game of the NFL’s Thanksgiving Day tripleheader with a televised performance of the national anthem between host Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, November 24 at 12:30 PM ET on FOX, and the following week will perform on the same stage as some of her country music idols including Faith Hill, Vince Gill, Keith Urban and Martina McBride when she performs “Grown Up Christmas List” on CMA Country Christmas, which airs Thursday, Dec. 1 at 9:00 PM, ET on ABC.

In addition, Lauren’s performance for A Hollywood Christmas Celebration at The Grove will air in syndication starting Thanksgiving weekend.  Check local listings for time and channel, and visit to keep up to date on all her holiday appearances.
