LISTEN: We the Kings & Olivia Holt Release “Sad Song” Remix

We the Kings have teamed up with our fav Olivia Holt for a special RJ remix of their song “Sad Song!”

The original track was released in 2013 off of the Somewhere Somehow album, and has managed to amass over 32 million streams on Spotify while the lyric video has nearly 65 million views on YouTube. Without an official music video or traditional promotion, fans have gravitated towards it organically. Now, WTK and Holt are giving us this fresh remix that breathes new life into this fan favorite. 

Lead singer Travis Clark talks about the collaboration,

“Working with Olivia was amazing, she came in and we were immediately like best friends. After joking around with each other for about an hour, we started working on “Sad Song.”  Her voice is incredible and fit really well with mine, so after about another hour we were done!”

Also today, the band is kicking off their 37-city WTK 10 Tour in Nashville, TV at Exit/In. This tour commemorates the 10 year anniversary of their self-titled debut album, and for the first time ever WTK will be performing the album in its entirety.
