There is no slowing down trailblazing duo Maddie & Tae who continue their streak of major multimedia appearances. Including a performance on national television, a large print profile and multiple spots on Country radio, the pair aren’t wasting a minute connecting with fans and ensuring their self-written songs are heard by all.
This past Friday (6/26), Maddie & Tae took the stage in New York City’s Central Park as part of ABC’s Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series to perform “Free And Easy” with Dierks Bentley. Bentley personally invited the Dot Records teenage sensations to perform with him as they are opening for the superstar on his SOUNDS OF SUMMER TOUR.
That same day, the acclaimed newspaper Boston Globe profiled Maddie & Tae in a half-page feature under the headline “Maddie & Tae Strike Country Gold.” In the article, writer Sarah Rodman asked Bentley to comment about why he chose the girls to open his summer tour. In response, Bentley said, “The first time I saw them [at a festival in Iowa] I sat there just shocked. These girls are not messing around, they came here to stay.” And they are indeed.
START HERE, their debut album, arrives August 28 and is currently available for pre-order. Their second single, “Fly,” a ballad about trusting faith in the falter, is rising up the Country radio charts.
