Although we were super happy for Team Pharrell‘s Sawyer Fredricks when he won Season 8 of the hit reality competition series The Voice, we were pretty bummed Meghan Linsey didn’t take that coveted title 🙁
Aside from Cassadee Pope, RaeLynn, The Swon Brothers, Christina Grimmie, Jacquie Lee and Bryana Salaz, you don’t really hear from other contestants after the season finale. Today, we are 100% adding Meghan Linsey to that list of somebodies after listening to her solo debut EP Believer.
The six-track EP showcases Linsey’s dynamically soulful vocals and emotionally charged songwriting. It was recorded in Nashville and produced by Tyler Cain (Ashley Monroe, James Otto). Thanks to her supportive fanbase, the indie artist climbed the iTunes chart reaching #6 on the Pop Albums chart.
“I was so shocked when I saw the iTunes chart on release day.” Megan exclaims. “To hit #6 as an indie artist is such a testament to how truly incredible my fans are! It’s the best feeling to see returns like that when you work really hard.”
