Vocal powerhouse MEGHAN LINSEY is set to perform at the 35th annual “A Capital Fourth,” airing live on PBS this Saturday, July 4 at 8 p.m. EDT / 7 p.m. CDT.

The show will take place on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., and will also feature performances from Barry Manilow, Alabama, Nicole Scherzinger, Hunter Hayes and more.

“I am beyond thrilled to be a part of the Capitol Fourth celebration,” MEGHAN says. “What better way to celebrate America’s independence than on the lawn of the Capitol? It’s incredible. As an American, I couldn’t be more honored! I’ll be checking this off of my bucket list for sure!”

In addition to the thousands watching in person and millions tuning into PBS at home, the celebration event will also be broadcast to our troops serving around the world on the American Forces Network, as well as air live in stereo over NPR member stations nationwide.

MEGHAN just a few weeks ago wrapped up season 8 of NBC’s hit singing competition “The Voice.” She debuted her original single “Change My Mind” on May 18, 2015 during part 1 of the show’s finale. Watch her powerful and chill-inducing performance here; an official music video for “Change My Mind” was also unveiled that night on “The Voice’s” YouTube page. The song is available now on iTunes.
