Miss Louisiana & Miss Florida Win Top Honors at Final Preliminary Night for the 2018 Miss America Competition

The third and final night of preliminary rounds for the 2018 Miss America Competition has officially ended and more girls have won titles ahead of Sunday’s big ceremony.

Held at Boardwalk Hall last night (September 8), all 51 contestants competed in both Talent and Lifestyle and Fitness categories.

Miss Louisiana, Laryssa Bonacquisti, added another win to her resume as she was crowned Friday evening’s preliminary Talent winner for her ventriloquist performance. Laryssa is now a double preliminary winner after her Thursday evening win for Lifestyle and Fitness and will receive a $2,000 scholarship.

Also capturing the spotlight was Miss Florida, Sara Zeng, who was the preliminary Lifestyle and Fitness winner. Sara will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
