ABC Family is not ready to say good-bye to its favorite medium, Monica Ten-Kate.
The network announced Monday (Oct. 26) that it has picked up a second season of the original reality series Monica the Medium.
“Monica has changed lives for the better and given comfort and closure to family members while exploring her unique ability,” said Karey Burke, Executive VP Programming and Development, ABC Family. “She connects as well with our audience as she does with Spirit.”
We’ll admit that when we first watched the show we were a little skeptical ourselves. What college student could speak to deceased loved ones — let alone want the world to know she speaks to deceased loved ones?
After watching the complete first season, we have fallen in love with Monica. We enjoy watching her navigate college, relationship and Spirit. She’s a normal student with an incredible gift and we appreciate that she shares that gift with the world on ABC Family.
We can’t wait to see what other unscripted series the network pulls out of its pocket!
The season finale of Monica the Medium airs Tuesday, October 27th at 8PM ET/PT on ABC Family.
