Happy Monday, readers!
Adam Friedman is a Los Angeles based singer/songwriter who initially tapped into the music industry with multiple collaborations with Mike Posner. Friedman had a pretty successful year last year, as his songs have surpassed 20 MILLION streams across all DSPs. In addition, he previously performed on The Today Show, debuted the video for “Lemonade” on Elvis Duran, toured with Posner and opened for Maroon 5 in LA.
2017 is already looking great for the “Pretty Things” singer, as he just released his own EP Green on Friday, February 10th.
“Green is a collection of songs produced in an aesthetic that I’m all about right now,” Friedman told us exclusively. “The record has a wide range of songs, and I’m so excited for it to be here.”
Adam will also have an original song featured in the upcoming movie, Rock Dog, starring Luke Wilson and J.K. Simmons and a track from the EP will be synced on the Christian Slater show Bull. Match.com, Oreo and Pepsi all have come on board to support “What If” through social media partnerships, advertising and marketing.
Friedman stopped by the studio last week to perform two songs for us — “What If” and “Pretty Things” — and talk about his new EP Green! Learn all about Adam’s journey by watching the videos below and stream Green on Spotify here. We highly recommend it, as its the electro-pop record we’ve been looking for! It features “Lemonade,” “Sad,” and the super-relatable track “What If,” which is Adam’s latest single.
Don’t forget to catch Adam perform “What If” on The Bachelor TONIGHT, February 13th @ 8PM ET on ABC! Keep up with Adam by following him on Twitter at @_adamfriedman.
