Our “Music Monday” pick this week is a pop group that goes by the name Ariana & The Rose.
Ariana & The Rose are comprised of lead singer Ariana DiLorenzo and her musical ensemble, The Rose. Before music, Ariana was an actress. She appeared in Paul McCartney’s “Queenie Eye” music video alongside stars like Johnny Depp and Kate Moss and also had a small role in The Sopranos. The up-and-coming group’s music was also featured on the runway during Paris Fashion Week.
Ariana & The Rose are currently on the Happy Mistakes Tour with Kendall Schmidt and Dustin Belt from Heffron Drive and CS4U checked out the band’s performance at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City last week. Ariana & The Rose performed songs off their debut EP Head or Heart (available now) and a mashup cover of Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey, and more. In our exclusive interview with Ariana, the singer-songwriter talked about what it was like making her first EP, what’s next from the band, and a hidden talent that will absolutely blow your mind.
