Music Monday: The 1975 (@the1975)

Yes, we know that UK-based band, The 1975, has been around with their current line-up since last June, but their debut self-titled album of alternative rock jams just dropped on September 2nd, and is making quite a splash in the music scene. They’ve even got celebs like Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran singing their praises on Twitter! The band, formed by Matthew Healy (vocals, guitar), Adam Hann (guitar), George Daniel (drums), and Ross MacDonald (bass), is interested in making people feel like “we are their band. I want them to fall in love,” says Healy. Well, we’ve certainly fallen in love with these songs, and we think you should too.

Check out the acoustic version of The 1975’s single, “Chocolate,” below, and then check out their US tour dates to see if they’re coming to a city near you.
