My Life As Liz Season Two Takes Over MTV!

The second season of MTV’s popular series “My Life As Liz” – based on the life and experiences of Liz Lee – returned to the channel on Tuesday, February 8 at 11pm ET/PT with a brand new episode. Viewers will follow a 12 all-new episode journey as Liz trades in the small Texas town of Burleson for the opportunity to go to art school in the ultimate big city: New York.  The new season offers a humorous look at the surprising ups and downs of Liz’s first year in college as she adjust to life in the intimidating Big Apple, pesky relationship drama, and students that are too cool for school — all while she tries to remain close to her beloved nerd-herd back in Texas.  Along the way, Liz provides the witty commentary that viewers came to appreciate in Season One, delivering a continually refreshing look at these new challenges in her life.

CelebSecrets4U had the opportunity to chat with Liz on what it was like making the transition from Texas to NYC. Check out our exclusive Q&A right here…

CelebSecrets4U: Why should CelebSecrets4U readers tune in to season two of your hit show, “My Life As Liz?”

Liz:It’s really exciting and it’s very relatable. Every episode there’s a new twist and there’s a lot happening – there’s a lot more happening this season than there was last year. There are some really exciting new people who I meet throughout the season, it’s an exciting new environment.

CelebSecrets4U: What was it like making the transition from living in Texas to living in New York City?

Liz: “There are not a ton of Tex-Mex restaurants in New York. The pace is a lot faster here. The setting is much more hectic. Texas is very easy-going, always driving a car, always seeing land, houses and cows, but here it’s like you can’t see beyond the next 20 feet because there’s a building standing in front of your path.”

CelebSecrets4U: What was going through your mind when you were first entering Pratt?

Liz: “I entered the place thinking “these are my people.” It felt like a collection all of the kids that would get beat up at my high school were all in this one place. I quickly found out it’s not as easy as I anticipated to make friends with them.

CelebSecrets4U: How did your close friends react when you told them about going away to NY?

Liz: They acted like I told them that I was going to step in front of a car. They were really upset about it, worried, and that made it hard for me to move because I didn’t want to make them sad. I love my friends and wanted to be with them. They’re really good people and I put those feelings at peace when they told me that they really just wanted me to be happy. But there were definitely some strains on our relationship due to the distance, but they understand and are very supportive.

CelebSecrets4U: If “My Life As Liz” had a special crossover episode, which MTV show would you choose to collaborate with?

Liz: “Probably The Hard Times of RJ Berger. They’re nerds as well, so it would be a perfect match.”

CelebSecrets4U: What can fans expect from the show within the next few weeks?

Liz: “Lots of, crazy monumental changes. Balancing new friends and old ones. We’ll also have huge emotional roller coasters.”

CelebSecrets4U: Since our website is all about secrets, can you tell us a secret about yourself?

Liz:I’m pretty open about stuff. I do have a very deep hidden secret fascination with Justin Bieber.

Tune in on Tuesdays at 11PM all-new episodes of My Life As Liz only on MTV!
