Temecula Road covered Sam Hunt recently and its honestly better than the original. Think that can’t happen? Listen for yourself.
If you’re not familiar with the band already, Temecula Road is a country teen trio that are named after the city they grew up in (Temecula, CA). Sisters Emma Salute, 15, and Maddie Salute, 13, have been singing together for years, and recently joined forces with longtime friend, Dawson Anderson, 15, to form Temecula Road. The trio writes their own original material, backed by Dawson on guitar and Emma on mandolin.
Noted for their impeccable harmonies, Temecula Road have gained quite the fan following, playing a number of live shows in California. Temecula Road was recently named West Coast Country Music Association’s Vocal Group of the Year.
The group also caught the attention of OC Hit Factory/Sony Music, winning a songwriting competition that lead to the release of their first single, “Paper or Plastic.”
With a combination of skills far beyond their years and an infectious, youthful energy, expect to see much more from Temecula Road very soon…
