Universal Pictures has released a two amazing new character posters for Tom Hooper’s movie musical adaptation of Les Misérables. In the poster we get our first look at Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter looking like two little crazy abusive, villainous, conniving and comedic innkeepers in the story. In other poster Amanda Seyfried and Eddie Redmayne are featured as Cosette and Marius with their love story portrayed so beautifully in the still.
The movie also stars Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Aaron Tveit, Russell Crowe, and Samantha Barks.
Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption—a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. Jackman plays ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert (Crowe) after he breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s (Hathaway) young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever. Les Misérables hits theaters Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25th!
