Happy Sunday, readers!
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and we had the pleasure of going to Nickelodeon‘s premiere of the new Not So Valentine’s Special — keep reading below to learn more about the super-fun night and hilarious special!
The screening was held at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, and as soon as I walked into the venue I felt as if I had just walked into Cupid’s workshop — it was so adorable!
The tables were decorated pink and red there were balloons everywhere with Valentine’s Day-themed candies on the table. In addition, there was a DJ bumping all the jams and a giant LED light heart. Also, who can forget the photo booth which I personally had a little too much fun with? LOL!
Then it was time for the red carpet. All of Nickelodeon’s finest posed for photos and chatted with the press (that’s us) and looked super chic in their winter threads.
Henry Danger‘s Sean Ryan Fox and Ella Anderson, Game Shakers’ Thomas Kuc, School of Rock‘s Ricardo Hurtado, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn‘s Casey Simpson, and Dance Moms’ Jojo Siwa all stopped by to talk about their part in the special, their ideal Valentine’s Day, dream dates, and of course the biggest Valentine’s Day fails, which plays a major role in the TV special.
As the red carpet came to a close, we went inside the Sherry Lansing Theater and were greeted by the creators, Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert. You may have heard of these names before, as they created Disney Channel’s Austin and Ally starring Ross Lynch and Laura Marano.
The Not So Valentine’s Special is a comedy sketch that centers around a group of friends (Kira Kosarin, Jack Griffo, Breanna Yde, and Riele Downs) who embark on a VIP trip to a candy factory, but there they encounter an evil Cupid (Calum Worthy) who’s plan is to turn the whole world against each other. Will they put a stop to it? Guess you’ll have to tune in and find out! This special is perfect for the entire family, so put your romantic comedies to the side and check this out!
The Not So Valentine’s Special airs on Sunday February 12th @ 7PM ET/PT on Nickelodeon. Check out a clip below!
