As you all know, the nominees were revealed for the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards this morning, and the list features all of our favorite artists.

This year’s ACM host Reba McEntire announced the nominees on CBS This Morning, including the five artists that are up for Entertainer of the Year.

This year, Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapletonand Keith Urban earned a nod in the prestigious category, but many people — including us — were wondering why no women were in this category.

Household names like Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, and Shania Twain are killing it when it comes to ticket sales and head counts at their shows, so why wouldn’t they be recognized for their work at the show?

Country music fans took to Twitter to show their opinions about this year’s EOTY nominees, asking the Academy of Country Music why the category was stacked with male artists.

In addition to the women not being nominated, country fans were REALLY upset that Eric Church was snubbed again, as he sold out sixty-one shows and over 1,000,000 tickets on his recent tour.

What are your thoughts on this year’s snubs at the ACMs? Tweet us your opinions at @CS_Country and make sure to catch the 53rd ACM Awards on Sunday, April 15th @ 8PM ET/PT on CBS.
