Official 55th Grammy Awards Program Book Available on Newsstands and in Bookstores Nationwide

Grammy-Awards-LogoThe Recording Academy® has once again partnered with FX Marketing Group to offer the official 55th GRAMMY Awards® program book to fans in bookstores and on newsstands nationwide. The book will be on sale starting in January in major U.S. markets and will celebrate and provide unique insights into the GRAMMY Awards telecast. The music industry’s premier event will take place live onSunday, Feb. 10, at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast in high-definition TV and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network from 8 – 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT). The GRAMMY program book is a 240-plus-page glossy, celebratory souvenir guide to the annual GRAMMY Awards, the premier music awards telecast and the focus of the music industry and fans alike each February. The program profiles current GRAMMY nominees, presents engaging features, provides in-depth reviews of the year’s GRAMMY Hall Of Fame selections and Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement, Trustees and Technical GRAMMY Award recipients, and documents the important year-round initiatives of The Academy. The end result is a beautifully designed commemorative book that complements Music’s Biggest Night® with thoughtfully written examinations of each major nominee and well-researched historical perspectives on other honorees and subjects.

The 55th GRAMMY program book includes celebrity editorial contributions from GRAMMY winners engineer/producer Ed Cherney, Flea, former Eurythmics Dave Stewart, and songwriters Diane Warren and Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, as well as composer Philip Glass and blues/rock artists Doyle Bramhall II and Gary Clark Jr., among others.
