One Direction have made US chart history again today by achieving the highest selling first week single sales by a UK artist with“Live While We’re Young.”The lead single from the band’s upcoming albumTAKE ME HOMEentered the Billboard Digital Track and Song Charts at #1 with over 341k sold in its first week making it the biggest opening week sales for a single by a non-US artist ever.

Upon release, the music video for“Live While We’re Young”was the most viewed video in 24 hours ever on VEVO with over 8.2 Million views and has since garnered over 52 Million views.
