The 21-year old heart-throb Harry Styles, was struck by a can of Red Bull while on the OTRA Tour in Philadelphia, PA.
The chart-topping quartet we’re performing at the Lincoln Financial Field on Tuesday when the incident occurred. The young men were walking down the catwalk when a fan propelled the beverage in hopes of getting Harry ‘s attention. In the fan’s video shown below, you can see the energy drink make contact with the performer’s face causing him to wince in pain. In another video, an unseen fan can be heard yelling at the teenage girl, “Why would you do that? That’s not funny!” while the culprit is laughing it off as if it was some twisted joke.
The girl who threw the can later tweets, “I accidentally hit him in the face and he doesn’t even notice me. What a waste.”
Whether she did it for the attention or to get a little payback for the band announcing their upcoming hiatus, this is definitely not Styles’ first incident while on tour. But luckily, he’ll always have 3 boys there to pick him up when others try to drag him down (pun intended). In a Vine captured by another concert-goer, Niall Horan gets sassy and voices, “Things hurt when you throw them at people, alright?”. Right on Horan. Hopefully fans will learn how dangerous and rude it is to throw things at you boys, or anyone for that matter.
