Our Best Nine Instagram Moments from 2016

2016 is officially coming to a close this weekend, and there’s so much to look back on — Celeb Secrets had an incredible year!

From rebranding and expanding with Celeb Secrets Country to experiencing new things and meeting new people, here are our Best Nine Instagram photos from 2016.

Make sure to give us a follow at @celebsecrets4u for behind-the-scenes updates from events. We even do Insta stories and live streams!

In October of 2015, we went to Toronto to visit the set of Make It Pop. Nickelodeon was also filming another show (it didn’t have a name at the time) and we were the first people to visit the set! It turned out to be The Other Kingdom, which premiered a twenty episode season throughout the spring. We love the entire cast and can’t wait to see them again soon! Reminisce on The Other Kingdom by watching our videos with Esther, Cal, Celina, and Taylor from set here.

Another top liked post was when we shared the nominees for the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. The BBMAs is one of our favorite award shows of the year, and we were lucky enough to head to Vegas this year to cover the magenta carpet in May! Relive all our BBMAs coverage here, and make sure to catch the 2017 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 21st @ 8PM ET on ABC.

One of our first interviews for Celeb Secrets Country was with Cole Swindell — our personal fav! The country crooner talked all about his recent release You Should Be Here and why people should pick up the record. The album wound up debuting at No. 2 on Billboards Top Country Albums chart, selling 65,500 copies in its first week. It also debuted at No. 6 on Billboard 200. The album has sold 229,700 copies in the US as of December 2016. You can read the full interview here. Congrats, Cole!

A few weeks before her shocking death, we saw Christina Grimmie at her concert in New York City with Before You Exit. This was one of Christina’s final interviews, where she talked about her fans, performing, and what she had planned for the rest of the year and in 2017. We miss you dearly, Christina, and always keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. You can watch our final interview with Christina here.

Look who came by to hang with us today 🙌🏼 thanks for a fun afternoon @officialfiym 😜

This was the year for Forever In Your Mind! We really got to know the boys this year, covering everything from their debut EP to their first tour. This day was such a fun day as we really spent time with Emery, Ricky, and Liam and were able to chat with them in a very relaxed setting, learning about their goals and plans for the new year. You can watch the video here.

We talked to @andrearussett at the Streamy Awards Nomination Announcement 🌟 we talked all about music and fashion!

We love watching Andrea Russett‘s successful career! Back in August, we caught up with the social media star at the Streamy Awards Nomination Reception where she talked about her mixtape Mind Medicine and that she was working on Sickhouse 2. You can watch the full video here.

Start off your Thursday with some silly selfies from our fav @lauramarano 😜📸

We are so proud of Laura Marano this year! She really came out of her shell in 2016 and debuted the music she’s been working really hard on. In addition, she hosted events such as the Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, and was a judge at the 2017 Miss America Pageant. Talk about a busy year! Back in June, we caught up with Laura at the 2016 CMA Music Festival where she talked all about her music, including her latest single “La La.” Check out the video for yourself here!

Another top Instagram post from 2016 was when we hung out with the girls from Netflix’s Project MC2. Now in its third season, Project MC2 follows a group of four extremely intelligent girls who are recruited to join a secret spy organization called NOV8. The show aims to inspire girls to embrace their passions for learning and exploring including McKeyla (problem solver and leader), Adrienne (culinary chemist), Bryden (gadget guru), Camryn (engineer extraordinaire), Devon (artist & creative) and Ember (green thumb). You can stream every episode of Project MC2 on Netflix now!

Our favs are back on our Best Nine for 2016. 😉
