Dynamic talent RAELYNN made her way to the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday night (3/14) to cap off an exciting week that included her catchy new single “For A Boy”catapulting into the Top 5 iTunes Top Country Songs chart upon release, an appearance on NBC’s TODAY show and a week-long bus tour celebrating the 30th Anniversary of National Music In Our Schools Month. For the final stop on Saturday (3/14), she invited students from Nashville’s Head Middle Magnet School to join her for a bucket list moment on the revered stage – performing “Always Sing” together.
RaeLynn penned “Always Sing” for the initiative and gave a special concert in each community with a set that also featured “For A Boy” and her GOLD-certified “God Made Girls,” which marked the highest charting debut single by a solo female artist in 2014. Radio Disney’s on-air personality Brooke Taylor hosted the on-site activities along the way while student ensembles kicked off each night with their versions of “Always Sing.”
Throughout the tour with National Association for Music Education, Give a Note Foundation and Radio Disney to share the message that music belongs in the schools, RaeLynn documented her stops with daily updates at RaeLynnBusTour.com and using #AlwaysSing on Twitter.
The Voice (Season 2) alum will hit the road with Rascal Flatts’ RIOT TOUR 2015 this summer and recently wrapped dates on Miranda Lambert’s CERTIFIED PLATINUM Tour. Four tour dates, visit RaeLynnOfficial.net.
