Cingle Records flagship recording artist Rainey Qualley had a life-long dream come true, when she made her Grand Ole Opry debut Friday night (August 28).

She stepped into the circle on the stage that has hosted virtually every one of her musical heroes and belted out her Me And Johnny Cash single and Never Mine, both from her debut EPTurn Down The Lights, in front of a packed and very appreciative crowd.

“What a surreal and humbling experience,” said Qualley. “It’s completely overwhelming and I’m still trying to take it all in,” she said from her dressing room, aptly named Into The Circle for artists making their Opry debut.

Prior to her performance, Cingle Records hosted a label launch party in Studio A of the Grand Ole Opry House. A whos-who of industry professionals, radio, television and artists were in attendance, when label executives John Shackelford and Russ Zavitson welcomed everyone and thanked Rainey for entrusting her career to them.

Rainey signed copies of herTurn Down The LightsEP for several hundred new and adoring fans in the Opry Store late into the night, before taking one last stroll across the stage to let the evening sink in.
