SAFIA WILL RELEASE THEIR DEBUT ALBUM ‘INTERNAL’ ON SEPTEMBER 9

Australian electronic 3-piece SAFIA have announced the release of their debut album ‘Internal’, via Island Records on September 9. The new single ‘Over You’ is available now when the album is pre-ordered HERE.  You can listen to ‘Over You’ HERE.

The band are currently in the midst of a series of European tour dates, and wowed audiences at their sold out headline show at London’s OSLO last week, as well as the official afterparty for Communion’s ‘Bushtock’ festival the previous weekend. 

SAFIA are one of the breakout success stories of the last 12 months from the Australian music scene, having scored #1s on the Triple J airplay chart for both of their singles ‘Embracing Me’ and ‘Counting Sheep’. They also supported Lorde on her Australian tour, as well as  sharing the bill withDisclosure and Rudimental in front of huge audiences at festivals including Splendour In The Grass.

Their blend of electronic pop with a nu-soul bent has been getting the attention of tastemakers worldwide, resulting in hitting the #1 spot on Hype Machine no less than 3 times in the space of a year!

 Earlier this year, SAFIA released their EP ‘Embracing Me’ to a raft of critical acclaim, furthering the group’s electronic credentials with a raft of remixes including Hayden James, Annie Mac tipped Apres, GermanyMazde, along with SoulCircuit.

The band is embarking on a series of US tour dates in July:
