Cuban country singer Sammy Arriaga signed with Latium Records on March 9, 2016!
Latium Records is an enterprise with RCA Records and Sony Music International. Arriaga is only 23-years old and he’s getting recognized for his distinct pop country sound that takes his Latin heritage and irresistible melodies and melts them together.
“One day Sammy Arriaga walked in to my office to pitch writing Spanish songs and told me he was a country singer living in Nashville. He played guitar and sang, and I got on the next plane to Nashville to take him to Sony. Get ready world!”, said Latium Entertainment’s CEO Charles Chavez, whose company managed Pitbull for quite sometime. They even manage MAGIC! and Kat Dahlia.
Arriaga is storming the country music scene already with “Cold In Miami“, which was co-written with Aaron Scherz and James Slater and produced by Wondrboy. The song was featured on iHeart’s Digital Integration Program. The Miami Herald called him “the next artist to emerge on the Country music scene from Miami since The Mavericks” and CMT selected him for their “Artist Discovery” campaign.
Sammy has been building a fan base by traveling nationwide and performing. He’s shared the stage with Trace Adkins, Cassadee Pope, Chase Rice and Love and Theft. He’ll be joining LOCASH on select dates – Knoxville,TN (3/12)and Springfield, IL (3/26).
