Samsung Electronics America, Inc., Universal Pictures and Best Buy today announced its marketing partnership with Jurassic World, the long-awaited next installment of Steven Spielberg’s groundbreaking Jurassic Park series. Samsung will present exclusive content from the upcoming epic action-adventure exclusively on Samsung’s new SUHD TVs at more than 500 select Best Buy stores across the U.S. until the movie releases in theaters on June 12.
“We are thrilled to unveil this exclusive Jurassic World clip, on Samsung’s SUHD TV’s,” said Bill Lee, Vice President of TV Product Marketing, Samsung Electronics America. “Everyone can expect an unmatched, lifelike picture quality with breathtaking color and detail, drawing viewers in to feel like they are a part of all the action.”
In Jurassic World, audiences will see a special cameo of The Samsung Innovation Center. Thanks to Samsung’s featured UHD TVs, the displays in JURASSIC WORLD’s Visitors’ Center will be incredibly visually appealing.
The Samsung Innovation Center, the Visitors’ Center in JURASSIC WORLD, showcases high-tech interactive exhibits that provide immersive experiences for parkgoers. “Samsung is a part of our story,” said Jurassic World producer Frank Marshall. “Our vision for the movie was that the theme park was very real, so we went to great lengths to make audiences feel like they were part of the experience—that really adds to the storytelling.”
“We are excited to partner with Samsung and Universal Pictures and provide fans the chance to watch the Jurassic World clip exclusively at Best Buy stores,” said Luke Motschenbacher, Best Buy’s Director of TVs. “With Samsung’s SUHD TVs, fans will be treated to a clip they won’t see anywhere else.”
As part of the cross-platform partnership, Samsung will also present content from Jurassic World in its global SUHD TV campaign.
