Country singer Scotty McCreery debuted an emotional new song, “Five More Minutes,” over the weekend in his hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Scotty sang the song for the first time in front of a very intimate crowd, including his grandmother who was in the audience. He gave a very passionate performance because his sweet ballad has a lot of meaning to it.
McCreery recently lost his grandfather — the song hitting very close to him for both him and his grandmother. Everyone has those moments of wanting to spend just a little more time with someone. “Five More Minutes” captures that essence of the little moments that you want to hold on to when you’re missing the person you love.
