Finally! Shawn Mendes has released his brand new track “Treat You Better” and you can stream it below. It’s another acoustic-y ballad where he fights for the love of a woman who is already taken by another man.
Shawn sings “I know I can treat you better than he can / And any girl like you deserves a gentleman” to the mysterious female in his new single.
Last month at the Billboard Music Awards, the 17-year-old singer teased the new song and now it’s officially out. “Treat You Better” is available for download on iTunes and stream below. The track is the lead single off Mendes’s upcoming untitled second album set to drop later this year.
Shawn took to Twitter with excitement. “U guys! Stoked you love it! Love u! #BetterOniTunes,†Shawn tweeted after the song dropped.
