Sixx Orange made a special appearance at Planet Hollywood Times Square earlier this month (June 8) in New York City.
The fourteen-year-old actress donated an imprint of her hands in marinara sauce as memorabilia. Following this special event, Sixx signed autographs for fans inside the restaurant. She took her time to get to know each fan individually and really make a lasting impression.
Celeb Secrets caught up with Sixx Orange after the event to see what she’s been up to! The budding star talked about her Amazon Prime show The Kicks, what inspires her super-cool hairdo and working with soccer star Alex Morgan. She also opened up about what its like being a child star and where she’d like to be in 10 years. Check out the full Q&A below.
The Kicks will air new episodes on Amazon Prime this fall.
Celeb Secrets: Are you currently obsessed with any song shows or movies at the moment?
Sixx Orange: “For movies, definitely the new Jungle Book film — I’m obsessed with it! For songs, I’m really enjoying Rihanna’s Anti-Deluxe album.”
Celeb Secrets: Why are your fans going to fall in love with your character Devin in The Kicks?
Sixx Orange: “I think fans are going to fall in love with Devin because she’s really relatable and she’s kind of that friend that if you have a problem, she can help you. She goes through the same issues and she makes you feel confident in yourself.”
Celeb Secrets: Can you tell us more about The Kicks and what fans can expect from season two?
Sixx Orange: “I think fans can expect a lot of action and a lot of relatable issues. There’s a lot of boy vs. girl competition, it deals with mean girls; you learn how to handle people who can be rude but not necessarily to be mean. You learn team work!”
Celeb Secrets: Speaking of boy vs. girl, will we see Devin with a love interest?
Sixx Orange: “I think she just wants to beat the boys at the moment. I don’t think she’s gotten comfortable enough to have a love interest. I think at this point she wants to just prove herself equal to the guys.”
Celeb Secrets: What is it like shooting with Alex Morgan?
Sixx Orange: “Wow – shooting with Alex Morgan is really surreal and fun, it’s pretty casual.”
Celeb Secrets: Do you have any behind the scenes moments you can share with us?
Sixx Orange: “Definitely with the kids – we all like to mess around and have dance parties in the trailer, take a lot of cookies and eat them behind scene when no one sees because we all love cookies, it’s a lot of fun.”
Celeb Secrets: How would you describe your unique style?
Sixx Orange: “I would say my style is up to date, but I like vintage. I like a lot of vans and jeans and t-shirts and stuff. Pretty chill. Not too girl, more town boyish.
(what would you say dad?) *Edgy*”

Celeb Secrets: What inspired your colorful hairdo?
Sixx Orange: “I just really liked being different and people being like “what is wrong with you!” and standing out. I miss it a lot, but I want my hair to be healthy, which is why it’s natural right now but I really really like to dye my hair. I think the color I plan on doing next would be a blue, or a blue and a purple – I sometimes like to ombre.”
Celeb Secrets: What’s it like being a child star?
Sixx Orange: “A lot of my friends back at home are supportive, a lot of my friends think its crazy and can’t believe it but they keep me going.”
Celeb Secrets: During your free time what do you like to do?
Sixx Orange: “I like to play bass sometimes or play some soccer, set up some cones and shoot around.”
Celeb Secrets: Who are some actors or actresses you admire?
Sixx Orange: “There are two actresses I admire. I really admire Jennifer Aniston because I’m obsessed with Friends and I really like Meryl Streep.”
Celeb Secrets: Where would you like to be 10 years from now?
Sixx Orange: “I’d like to have a couple movies out. I’d possibly like to be directing, possibly writing and just working on all different parts of the entertainment business.”
Celeb Secrets: Since we are Celeb Secrets, could you tell us a secret about yourself?
Sixx Orange: “My name is from the 90’s sitcom character Six Lemeure on Blossom.”
