So You Think You Can Dance has returned for its sixth week of live shows tonight (August 6th) in Los Angeles, Calif.
The Top 10 Tanisha Belnap, Jacque Lewarne, Jessica Richens, Valerie Rockey, Bridgit Whitman, Rudy Abreu, Zack Everhart, Ricky Ubeda, Casey Askew, and Emilio Dosal -were paired together with So You Think You Can Dance alumni to perform various contemporary, ballet, cha-cha, hip hop, tango, and even a Bollywood disco sequence in front of judges Mary Murphey, Nigel Lythgoe, and special guest judge- acclaimed figure skater Tara Lipinski. Guest dancers on the show included Brandon Bryant Spears, Ryan Di Lello, Jenna Johnson, Twitch, Amy Yakima, and Lauren Froderman.
Christina Perri also took the stage to perform her new song “Burning Gold”- to which So You Think Can Dance alumni Kathryn McCormick and Chehon Wespi-Tschopp performed a duet choreographed by Stacey Tookey.
At the end of the show, host Cat Deeley announced that Emilio Dosal and Bridgit Whitman’s run on the show has come to a close.
