The Best Moments from the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards

The Grammys have finally arrived!

The 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards brought some of the world’s most incredible and influential performers together for one very special night and it was unforgettable. We were excited to hear that The Late Late Show host, James Corden was going to host this year’s Grammy Awards and he did not disappoint. James brought his hilarious comedic skills to the stage and did an excellent job as a host!

There were so many good moments and we picked some of our favorite moments. Check them down below:

A big win for Twenty One Pilots

Our favorite boys Tyler Joseph and Joshua Dun from Twenty One Pilots won their first Grammy award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their hit single ‘Stressed Out’ off of their latest album Blurryface. Before they went on stage the boys took off their pants and we’re not exactly sure why, but they explain in their acceptance speech with a little back story and they said, “If we ever go to the Grammys, if we ever win a Grammy, we should receive it just like this.” Check out their full acceptance speech down below

Beyonce is an actual goddess

Beyonce’s looked like an actual goddess during her highly anticipated Grammy’s performance. It was jaw dropping. This was her first performance since she first announced that she was pregnant with twins. The queen took the stage to sing a medley of her hits off her visual album, Lemonade, which broke millions of records last year when it first released. Was anyone else on the edge of their seat when she tipped backward on that chair? Just shows Beyonce can do anything!

 A star-studded Carpool Karaoke

It wouldn’t be the Grammy awards without James Corden doing his infamous Carpool Karaoke that we all love. James was joined by the biggest names in music including,  John Legend, Neil Diamond,  and Jennifer Lopez , as they did an epic rendition of ‘Sweet Caroline’. Queen B’s Blue Ivy made an adorable appearance as she joined them to sing along. Check out the video down below

Adele’s Tribute to Geroge Michael

Adele was the biggest winner of the night taking home 5 awards. She also did a beautiful tribute to George Michael, as she did an amazing cover of ‘Fast Love’. Although she did experience some technical difficulties in the beginning, it didn’t stop her from putting on the best performance. This queen slayed!

Record/Album of the Year

Adle took home the award for Best Record/Album of the Year. Her acceptance speech gave us all the feels. She thanked Beyonce so many times. She stated, “My idol is Queen B, and I adore you! You move my soul every single day and you have done for these 17 years. I adore you and I want you to be my mummy, alright” LOL, so adorable! Beyonce even lost it as she thanked her. Adele also pulled a ‘Mean Girls’ move and broke the award in half to give to Beyonce. Check out her full acceptance speech down below
