The Cast of Andi Mack Spill Season 3 Tea – From Relationships to Real-Life Issues!

Is it just us, or are the new episodes of Andi Mack getting better and better each week?

Known for breaking boundaries by addressing real-life issues on teen programming, Andi Mack is all-new tomorrow and tackling one of the biggest, most controversial topic yet. Gun control.

The two-part story arc will illustrate peer pressure and a true test of character for Cyrus (Joshua Rush) when T.J. (Luke Mullen) and his group of friends unexpectedly invite Cyrus to join their unsupervised target practice. Disney Channel programmers developed the episodes under the consultancy of the child development experts at The Brady Center and Hollywood, Health & Society (HH&S), a program of the USC Annenberg Norman Lear Center, so we know that its going to be not only informative, but beautifully executed.

Celeb Secrets had the opportunity to sit down with cast members Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Asher Angel, Sofia Wylieand Joshua Rush to talk about what’s to come from the series’ third season. Filled with even more relationship drama and awareness to some of the biggest situations tweens and teens are currently dealing with, all four cast members got deep about the upcoming storylines, saying that each and every one will be “powerful.”

“I think it’s important we tell these storylines because they are going to impact real people. It’s hard for us to remember when we’re just sitting there doing our jobs that there are real people in the real world who are being impacted in a positive way from the storylines that we are telling, so its powerful,” Joshua told Celeb Secrets.

“I also think when you see things being portrayed on TV, it gives you the confidence to take charge of your own life if you’re in these situations that the characters on TV are going through,” Lee added. “I also think that this show hopefully opens up lines of communication between friends and between family members. When you see things like Cyrus coming out to Buffy, that’s giving kids this empowerment to do the same with their friends and their family which I think is really powerful.”
