Mika Abdalle, Victoria Vida, Genneya Walton, Ysa Penarejo, Alyssa Lych, and Belle Shouse teamed up with Girl Scouts USAÂ to support and encourage girls in S.T.E.M. last week (October 4) at the Netflix HQ in Los Gatos, CA.
At the event, Girl Scout attendees got an advance screening of the first episode of Project MC2 season three and were able to hear about the careers of female executives from Twitter, Instagram, Google, and Intel who have found success in S.T.E.A.M. In addition, girls were able to engage in two of Project MC2 experiments, Volcano and Soda Can Robot, and walked away with their own S.T.E.A.M. swag from Project MC2.Â
Project Mc2Â aims to inspire girls to embrace their passions for learning and exploring including McKeyla (problem solver and leader), Adrienne (culinary chemist), Bryden (gadget guru), Camryn (engineer extraordinaire), Devon (artist & creative) and Ember (green thumb).
Season 3 of Project MC2 will be available for streaming beginning Friday, October 14th.
