Today, John O’Callaghan, best known as the frontman of The Maine, has released his debut EP for his side project John The Ghost. Although many know O’Callaghan for his lyrics, he has also been known for his poetry. This EP, entitled Sincerely, John The Ghost, fuses both his musical and poetic talent into one medium.

Sincerely, John The Ghost is a unique collection of over sixty pieces of prose poetry paired with six original musical compositions; a 90 page book and six song EP. Written and recorded in O’Callaghan’s bedroom, Sincerely, John The Ghost chronicles the past two years of this writer’s brain.

In regards to the project, O’Callaghan says, “the purpose of this project is not only a form of catharsis by letting go of lingering ideas, but also an opportunity to potentially inspire others to express themselves in whatever ways make them feel alive.”
