CMA New Artist of the Year nominee THOMAS RHETT’s sophomore effort TANGLED UP (The Valory Music Co.) debuted on the Billboard 200 chart this week with more than 76,000 first-week units. Its chart-topping lead single “Crash and Burn” simultaneously receives Platinum certification by the RIAA, leading into performances this week on the outdoor stage at Jimmy Kimmel Live! (10/7) and on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (10/7).
“It’s been cool to finally get feedback from the fans this week,” said Thomas Rhett. “There’s so much freedom in knowing we’re on the same page and they’re just as excited about this new music as I am.
