Tweens Speak Out Against Bullying By Releasing Their Views in Music

Pop/rock duo named Michael and Marisarecently recorded the antibullying anthem called “The Same.” “The Same”, found on the four-song EP It’s Like That , tackles the subject of bullying head-on from a pair who’ve witnessed peers being picked on.  The song was written by the Boston-based siblings after reading about the January 2010 suicide of 15 year-old Phoebe Prince, following an onslaught of bullying behavior by schoolmates at a Massachusetts high school.  They have also donated touring money to the Pacer Institute and help them wherever possible. At 13 and 14 years old, this is a cause they really believe in.
