Voting is Now Open for “New Artist of the Year” Category at the 2016 American Music Awards

Did you know that the AMAs are completely voted by fans?

Today, polls have officially been opened for the New Artist of the Year Un-leashed by T-Mobile award at the 2016 American Music Awards. It’s time to make sure your favorite artist wins! 

In case you needed to refresh your memory, nominees for the category are Alessia Cara, The Chainsmokers, DNCE, Shawn Mendes, and Zayn. You’re able to vote 100 times per day, on both AMAvote.com and on Twitter. To vote on Twitter, you simply post a tweet that includes the nominee’s Twitter handle, the category name and #AMAs within the post(s). For all other American Music Awards categories, fans can vote once a day, via one or both of the methods mentioned above.

The 2016 American Music Awards airs Sunday, November 20th @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
