Today, BANKS shares the music video for her latest single “Trainwreck.”
Continuing a tradition of unhinged visual glory, the clip exercises her unpredictable and dark sensuality as she performs in front of an old-school VHS camera for anonymous suited ghouls. It’s uncomfortably beautiful at the intersection of high fashion and David Lynchian surrealism.
The music segues from ominous bass, claps, and synths into a hypnotically haunting refrain, “You thinking with your one brain, watch you decapitate. You show me all your letters and I should’ve confiscated. Put my eyes away, and I had to get away.”
Surrounding her return to the Coachella stage on April 14 and April 21, BANKS reveals a string of Spring 2017 West Coast tour dates. She kicks off the West Coast tour in San Diego, CA on April 13, making stops in Portland, Vancouver, Seattle, and San Francisco in between her Coachella performances.
