Maria Quezada looked absolutely flawless at the 31st Annual Imagen Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday evening (September 9th) in Beverly Hills.

The Imagen Awards are the only Latino entertainment awards event dedicated to honoring the positive portrayal and creative excellence of Latinos and Latino cultures in television and film and Maria was so honored to be apart of it!

“It’s a huge honor to be nominated for an Imagen Award. The show is considered the Latino Golden Globes, so I am really excited to be apart of this,” Maria spilled to us exclusively. “It’s awesome to see that all my hard work paid off and I get to portray the Latino community in a positive light.”

The 15-year-old actress was nominated for two awards – Best Young Actor: Television and Best Children’s Programming for her Nickelodeon show Talia in the Kitchen. Although she may have lost the wins to fellow Nickelodeon star Isabela Moner and Dora and Friends: Into the City! we are still so proud of how far Maria has come and is still a winner in our eyes.
