Sony has released a 17-second sneak peek for it’s highly anticipated film, Spider-Man: Homecoming and although it looks like an Iron Man spin-off, we’re not mad about it all.

The clip doesn’t give away too much, but it gives us some insight on this new and technologically improved Spidey. The clip starts off with a Hardcore Henry vibe with Peter (Tom Holland) filming from his POV. Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau), who is Tony’s assistant/bodyguard, sees Peter wearing his outdated suit and instructs him to check out the gift Tony Stark gave him. The scene then cuts to Peter sporting the upgraded suit with some built-in gliders attached to the side of his body – much like a flying squirrel, but way cooler. The webbing under his arms may be a new look for the cinematic icon, but those wing-like accessories were actually part of the very first suit that Spider-Man created in the comics. Surely a little nod for the die-hard fans.

The full trailer is slated to premiere tomorrow (December 8th) on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Kimmel has premiered previous Marvel trailers in the past so it’s only fitting that he be given this honor as well (Especially considering the network that his show airs on, ABC, is owned by Disney aka Marvel Studios parent company.)

In addition to Tom Holland, Spider-Man: Homecoming will star Zendaya and Robert Downey Jr.. Holland has signed on for at least three (or more) Spider-Man films and a total of six appearances in the MCU.
