Monday’s are that much better this spring thanks to Freeform!
Last month, the network’s hit comedy Young & Hungry returned for a FIFTH season with new episodes. The series left off with Gabi and Josh deciding to be “friends with benefits,†much to the group’s chagrin, after their previous attempts at a relationship went awry.
During the new season, airing on Mondays @ 8:30, Gabi and Josh are trying to prove to everyone that they won’t let feelings get in the way of their new arrangement, Sofia continues on the path to a career in journalism, and Josh faces an unexpected reunion with his estranged father.
Celeb Secrets had the opportunity to visit the set earlier this year and hang out with cast members Jonathan Sadowski, Emily Osment, and Kym Whitley! We challenged them to a round of Never Have I Ever, and their answers were absolutely hilarious. Have they ever lied about who they were? Used their fame to get out of trouble? Used their Gucci to get some couchie? You’ll have to watch the full video below to find out!
On tonight’s episode “Young & Josh’s Dad,†Josh’s father Matt (guest star Andy Buckley, “The Officeâ€) contacts his son for the first time asking to meet. When Josh (Sadowski) refuses, assuming his father is only after his money, Gabi (Osment) takes matters into her own hands. She arranges to meet Matt and discover his true motives, but as usual, things don’t go as planned. Meanwhile, Yolanda (Whitley) is convinced she’ll die at the same age as her mother, so she goes on a strict diet – but it’s Elliot (Rex Lee) who may be at risk.
