Watch the Top 10 Kids’ Choice Awards Celebrity Slimes of All Time

There are a lot of reasons why Nickelodeon’s annual Kids’ Choice Awards is a special event. First of all, the nominees and winners are picked by kids, who know what they like and have the power to vote in their faves. Plus, a lot of great celebs, TV shows, and movies get honored at the KCAs before they go on to get huge “industry” awards. But of course, what really sets this awards show apart from all others is the amount of sliming going on. Come on, you’re not going to see that at the Oscars!

To celebrate the upcoming 2018 KCAs, which airs live on Nickelodeon this March 24, we’re looking back on the top 10 celebrity sliming moments that ever happened on the event’s stage. Have some fun checking them out below — and don’t forget to duck!

Justin Bieber and Will Smith – 2012

This wasn’t your average sliming – Will Smith and Justin Bieber got absolutely drenched (from every angle!) when they hit the KCAs stage together back in 2012.

Taylor Lautner – 2012

Poor Taylor Lautner: the actor thought he was just doing a push-up competition, and he ended up covered in green goo. At least he was a great sport about it.

Katy Perry – 2010

What’s the true power of slime? Just ask Katy Perry: the slime blast was so intense, the force knocked her over!

Pitbull – 2013

Only Pitbull could have his fist pumped high in the air as he accepted his own epic on-stage sliming! What a champion.

Tom Cruise – 2001

Can you believe there was ever a time when Tom Cruise would agree to being slimed on stage? Write this one down in the history textbooks so it’s never forgotten.

Austin Mahone and Cody Simpson – 2014

What’s better than a celebrity sliming? A DOUBLE SLIME! Fans had to vote on whether they wanted to see Austin Mahone or Cody Simpson covered in green goo… and spoiler alert: Nickelodeon dumped buckets on both guys!

Shawn Mendes – 2015

Hey Shawn: pro tip? If there’s a giant red button anywhere in the Kids’ Choice Awards vicinity, it’s probably a slime button. The moment the singer realized this fact is truly iconic.

Josh Hutcherson and Amanda Seyfried – 2013

What happens when you get pelted with slime from every direction? Josh Hutcherson made us realize it’s pretty tiring – and Amanda Seyfried showed us that it’s extra sticky for those of us with long hair.

Demi Lovato – 2017

Demi Lovato was looking gorgeous and radiant at last year’s KCAs – until the slime cannons unexpectedly got her. It was such a fun moment, but we were actually sad about her perfect makeup being ruined.

Fifth Harmony – 2016

We think Fifth Harmony got off a little easy as far as the slime coverage was concerned, but it was so much fun to see the band dodging tons of slime spurts set up all over the KCAs stage.

Who do you think is going to get slimed this year? To find out, be sure to tune in to the 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards on Nickelodeon, LIVE on Saturday, March 24th at 8PM. The show will be hosted by John Cena, and will feature a performance from one of our faves, JoJo Siwa.
