Eve is coming back to life!
It has officially been confirmed that the beloved Disney movie Life-Size will be getting a sequel titled Life-Size 2 next year.
Tyra Banks will reprise her iconic role as “Eve” — a doll that comes to life. In Life-Size 2, however, Eve has grown up. This time, she’s magically awoken to help a young woman learn to live and love again, and along the way, Eve herself will experience the ups and downs of real life in a fun, edgy, modern Christmas movie.
Celeb Secrets had the opportunity to chat with Banks at the Freeform Upfronts in New York City this evening where she dished all about the sequel.
“The girls who watched Life-Size are now grown women, and Eve is going to be experiencing those things that they are going through. The writer is super edgy and doesn’t like to follow the rules, so you’re going to keep saying OH MY GOSH the entire time,” Banks said on the red carpet. “The moms are going to love this, but you can’t watch it with your five-year old child because it’s an older and adult Eve, so all I’ll say is don’t bring your kids to this,” she continued to tell Celeb Secrets exclusively.Â
Banks would also love to see Lindsay Lohan reprise her role in the sequel, too. “I’m hoping Lindsay Lohan comes back. I have to talk about that with my fellow producers, but that would be the icing on the cake. I would love for her to come back and do something in this sequel — I feel like it would be expected and the viewers would want to see that,” she shared.
As executive producer on the project, Tyra hopes to see many different things happen within the film as times have changed since the first movie.
“With the age of social media, there will be all types of stuff in this movie. I would love to see influencers in the movie and real designer clothes, maybe even a Pharrell-type person to remix the ‘Shine Bright’ song. I really want it to be ‘cool’ for today.”
