White House Rejects Ariana Grande Over Donuts Controversy – Details!

Pop princess Ariana Grande was reportedly vetoed from performing at the White House after a video of her licking donuts and saying “I hate America” surfaced.

Among the many emails from the DNC (Democratic National Committee) that were leaked and published by Wikileaks, one of them included a brief exchange regarding the Break Free vocalist and whether or not she would be granted the opportunity to perform at a DNC event.

This happened around the time the infamous clip of Grande licking customers’ donuts with her boyfriend/back-up dancer Ricky Alvarez came to light. In the clip, she remarked, “What..is that? I hate Americans. I hate America.” when a tray of baked goods appeared before her. She then began to lick them for no apparent reason.

According to the emails, DNC officials were worried about the 23-year-old’s comment. Although Grande has since apologized for her actions and the things she said, White House officials still nixed her performance.

Despite losing out on a big event, that rejection seems to be water under the bridge now. Grande seems to have shaken it off with a new hairdo which she debuted on her Instagram. Bang bangs into the room!

Do you agree with her performance being vetoed or were the White House officials overreacting? Sound off in the comments!
