Zac Efron Is Hosting a new TV Docuseries on MTV for Millennials

Zac Efron is heading back to the small screen, almost a decade after his television debut in Disney’s High School Musical.

The 28-year-old is set to host and executive produce a new documentary series for MTV about Millennial culture. The news was announced during MTV’s upfront presentation. The show will follow Efron, who is described as a “traveller and food-lover,” investigating the importance food and culture for this generation.

The untitled project will “look beyond the extravagant and obscure in food to explore the artistry, storytelling and journeys in what we eat, and the issues and experiences surrounding what we find on our plates.”

Efron is currently down in Florida filming the Baywatch movie alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kelly Rohrbach, Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra, Ilfenesh Hadera and Hannibal Buress.
