New music is coming from Brooke Alexx!
The rising pop artist revealed that her highly-anticipated debut album, Big Mouth, is set to drop on Friday, October 4, 2024. Handpicking stories from her own life experiences to put into song, the project will introduce the world to Brooke thanks to honest yet lighthearted lyrics with a catchy pop beat to match.
“Each song is meant to feel like hot goss I’m sharing with a close friend. This album is me opening my ‘big mouth’ and not holding anything back. I want you to feel like I’m finally saying that thing you’ve been biting your tongue about,” Brooke affirms in a press release.
“This project is basically me stepping into who I have always wanted to be and always believed I could be,” the Nashville-based singer/songwriter tells Celeb Secrets in an exclusive interview. “I’ve gotten to the point where I’ve honed my craft; I know how I wanna say things, what I wanna say, and I’m not afraid to anymore. This does feel like a coming of age project where I’m just who I’ve always meant to be.”
To get listeners even more pumped for the upcoming record, Brooke announced a brand new song, “Younger Guys,” earlier today (June 14), which can be described as an upbeat, summery anthem about how she finds herself constantly crushing on guys who are younger than her.
“It’s a summer vibe,” Brooke notes. “I always end up dating boys who are younger than me by a few years. They tend to not take things as seriously and bring out my fun side, which is kind of refreshing for me. Maybe ‘age is just a number’ after all.”
“Younger Guys” is just one of the many songs that Brooke has out on music streaming platforms, and follows her recently released bop “Hot Like You.” Inspired by her younger sisters — who she considers gorgeous and “hot — the track is more about surrounding yourself with amazing women who do incredible things.
“The word ‘hot’ can be replaced with any word that’s an admirable trait in another woman. I wanna be kind like you, I wanna be thoughtful like you, I wanna be incredible like you; it’s just celebrating the incredible, amazing women that are around us and hyping women up. At its core, it’s a female empowerment anthem,” Brooke tells Celeb Secrets.

While we wait for the release of Big Mouth, Brooke will be packing her things and hitting the road with Arrows in Action later this month, where she’s set to perform songs off the upcoming record and more.
“I’m gonna get to go on tour with Arrows in Action for three weeks from the end of June through middle of July, and hit some cities I’ve never played at before. I’m really excited for that,” she shares.
“I feel like the support tours have been great preparation for what’s to come because I get to try out different ideas. I have a song called ‘Girlfriend’ and we’ve been mixing it with Avril Lavigne’s ‘Girlfriend,’ which is really fun. People who don’t know my song yet can get introduced to it by a song that they already know and love, and it’s just fun to mash songs up,” she continues.
