If your FYP wasn’t already flooded with celebs, sweatshirts, and sunset parties last week, allow us to catch you up. NYLON just made the statement of summer 2025 with its biggest bash yet: a five-day, invite-only residency at The Surf Lodge in Montauk. Think fashion, music, influencers, and all the buzzy “you had to be there” energy—this was the kind of holiday weekend Gen Z dreams are made of.
The exclusive July 2–6 event wasn’t just a party. It was a preview of NYLON’s new Membership program—dropping later this year—which promises curated access to the most iconic events around the world (Coachella? NYFW? Miami Art Week? Stagecoach? Yes, please.)

The week kicked off with the return of Shark Attack Sounds (hosted by Ben Watts) and a dance floor-rocking set from Loud Luxury, and it only got wilder from there. SOFI TUKKER brought the heat for a standout headlining performance, Hugel turned the 4th of July into a glittering beachside rave, and Adriatique and St. Lucia wrapped the weekend with sets that felt like scenes from a Sofia Coppola summer fantasy.
The NYLON Broadsheet (featuring cover queen Dove Cameron) was exclusively available on-site, and trust us—everyone who’s in grabbed a copy.

Everywhere you turned, there was another A-lister, content queen, or coastal-cool creative lighting up your IG grid. The NYLON guest list did not miss, as Emma Roberts, Livvy Dunne, Meadow Walker, Bethenny Frankel (who rocked Ramy Brook’s Nikole Dress in Palm Green), Xandra Pohl, Tessa Brooks, Tinx, Remi Bader, Amanda McCants, Joshua Jackson, Ashtin Earle, Peter Weber, Dale Moss, Hannah Godwin, Kit Keenan, Amelie Zilber, and Ava Dash were all spotted living their best lives inside the swanky waterside venue.
The fashion was the talk of the town, too. Thanks to ASOS as the official style sponsor, guests shopped curated summer ‘fits and left with a limited-edition Surf Lodge x ASOS x NYLON sweatshirt—aka the item of the weekend. Xandra Pohl and friends wore it like a badge of honor.

Sally Hansen set the mood with a high-glam photo booth and DJ takeover, while Nautica Fragrance served scent-inspired gelato flavors (yes, you read that right—Rose Island gelato was a thing). Vera Wang Fragrance added a romantic twist with a dreamy beachside photo moment worthy of your Reels.

Editor-in-Chief Lauren McCarthy said it best: “We didn’t just throw a party—we made a statement.” With hundreds of tastemakers on site, exclusive performances, and a signature NYLON aesthetic, this weekend proved that the future of fashion media isn’t on the sidelines—it’s throwing the party everyone wants into.
If you weren’t in Montauk this year? There’s still hope. When the full NYLON Membership drops later this year, it’ll be your golden ticket to the most sought-after invites in the culture game. Hot girl summer just got way more exclusive.
