Clayton and The Girls Have a Therapy Session
Genevieve, Gabby, Rachel, and Sarah were the “lucky” ladies to go on the group date with Clayton in Vienna. Leaning towards the more serious side, the “date” turned into a “therapy session” where Clayton wanted to see each girls’ walls broken down.
Clayton, along with a psychoanalyst, met with each girl to discuss how they were feeling about their emotions and the process of finding love on television. Gabby was up first, and it didn’t take long for her to break down and open about how her parents’ divorce had an impact on her. However, she wanted to reassure that she trusts Clayton and their relationship. We did get brief moments of Teddi and Rachel’s sessions, but producers decided to focus more on Genevieve’s as there was some tension involved.
Genevieve is the only girl who has not received a one-on-one, and what we have seen from her, she is a very closed and reserved woman. When she went to the session, you could sense that she did not feel comfortable talking about her feelings. Clayton felt as though her not breaking down her walls was another bump in the road for them, mutually deciding to end their relationship.
Many fans felt that Clayton was in the wrong to even have a therapy date, and it was unfair to send Genevieve home just because she felt uncomfortable sharing her feelings.

The drama didn’t stop there, as Sarah was the last woman to have a therapy session. While she was happy to share her feelings with the psychoanalyst, she broke down when asked about the struggles she was facing among the other women in the house. “It’s been really hard,” she said, but, Bachelor Nation and the psychoanalyst did not buy it.
In the end, the psychoanalyst left Clayton and the girls on a suspenseful note saying that some of the feelings were “performative.”
